Feasts of the Lord - Chart & Overview
Lets begin to re-discover the great treasure of these unique times of intimacy and revelation called Feasts or Sabbaths.
Matt 13:52
He said to them, Therefore every teacher and interpreter of the Sacred Writings who has been instructed about and trained for the kingdom of heaven and has become a disciple is like a householder who brings forth out of his storehouse treasure that is new and [treasure that is] old [the fresh as well as the familiar].

Foundation Scriptures - Exodus 12, Levitucus 23, Deuteronomy 16.
There are three special Sabbaths, Appointed Times, that the Lord gave to Israel at Sinai as a gift. These are specific points in time each year where He promised to meet with all his people. They are often called "Feasts" in the Bible, but they are not just times of eating great "feast" meals as we might expect in our western culture, No, they are so much more!
The three Feasts coincide with the agricultural seasons in Israel. Passover occurs in Spring during sprouting grain and barley harvest. The Feast of Weeks, also called Shavuot or Pentecost is in the summer at the time of the wheat harvest. Tabernacles comes in the fall at the time of the fruit harvest.
There are actually seven different Feasts found in the three seasons. Passover, Unleavened Bread, and First Fruits are linked together at the "Passover" season (a "three-in-one"). Pentecost (also called Shavuot, or the Feast of Weeks) stands alone in the summer. Rosh Hashana (also called the Feast of Trumpets), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement)and Tabernacles (or Booths) make up the Fall Festival (another "three-in-one") season called "Tabernacles".
All the Feasts speak of our Messiah Jesus and the building and working of His Bride, the Church. They all have meaning and revelation for us as individuls, as groups, and as the Church as a whole. There is also an historical, present, and future aspect to all the various Feasts. The Lord has given us great revelation concerning the working, building and future of His Kingdom in these Sabbaths. For several centuries these truths have been hidden from much of the Church, but at this time, the treasures are being restored and released into the Body of Christ.
These times, and the practice of observing these times is a deep everlasting well of Life. As you decide to observe and practice these Sabbaths, not as a requirement of some rule, but as a response to the invitation of the One who Loves You Most, the Lord WILL open a fountain into your heart and into your understanding that can come from no other source. I speak from experience. The Lord is Faithful.
See you at the Feasts!
